It is true that the time for yourself is very limited. However, it doesn’t mean that you cannot have a fit and healthy body.
In fact, with a small amount of time every day, if you know how to utilize it, you will sure get the most out of it.
In this article, I will provide you some fitness tips that you could follow around your limited time resource. With these tips, I hope that you would be able to get fit and healthy all the time.
Here are some tips of getting fit with your busy schedule:
1. Set Your Target
The first thing that you need to do is set your targets. Follow the SMART rule- which means that your targets need to be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time bound.
Break your targets into small milestones. For example, you could set your target that you could lose 1 kg in 1 month. Make sure each of your targets goes with a specific period of time.
Try to set achievable targets. If your targets are too hard, you will feel very discouraged and soon don’t want to
2. Use Your Time Wisely
Firstly, you don’t need much of your time every day to work out. In fact, you could spare as much as 15 minutes and that is enough. The key thing here is to do it every day.
Your workout routine is more effective if you do it on a daily basis. It becomes less effective if you only do 1 hour session of working out at the weekend.
You can do your workout in the morning when your kids are still sleeping. Or you can do it at noon in their nap time. You can also do your workout when your kids go to school.
3. Engage Your Kids
If your kids are still small, you may need to pay attention to them all the time and they tend to crawl and walk around a lot.
However, there are many fitness routines that you can do with the help of your kids. You can find them out easily on various sites such as Youtube and Pinterest.
Also consider walking in the park with your baby in the stroller a very healthy and effective exercise to keep fit.
When your kids are old enough, there are plenty of recreational activities that you could go with your kids. They are win-win situation as your kids have fun and you have to exercise. You can consider some activities such as swimming and biking.
4. Find Yourself A Partner Or Group
It is very hard to start doing something new. Especially when you have so many excuses such as I am busy, I don’t have time and I will do it tomorrow.
In this case, you need to find yourself a partner who has the same objects like you. He or she will be able to push you to work out and keep track of your daily routine as well.
You can also look for fitness group. In many towns, there are fitness groups of busy moms just like you. When you join these groups, you are also able to seek for advice to maintain fit and healthy while busy doing housework and take care of kids.
5. Have A Healthy Lifestyle
The last thing you should remember in order for your workouts to be successful is having a healthy lifestyle. If you are a mom, you may have quit smoking already.
Don’t eat and buy foods from fast food restaurants. I know you and your children love the taste and it is quick and convenient. But sure these fast foods are not good for your family’s health.
Drink water regularly. You should consume at least 2 liters of water every day. Busy moms tend to forget to drink water. Therefore, at the beginning of a day, prepare a pot of 2 liters of water and drink frequently throughout the day.
